Reaching the New Age with the Gospel

Equipping Christians to understand, engage with and reach New Agers with the truth of Jesus Christ.

why it matters

New Age beliefs and practices are becoming increasingly common in our culture, from wellness and self-development to secular spaces and even some churches. This means that the people we encounter in everyday life may be involved in the New Age without us, or them, even realising it.

Many New Age beliefs appeal to real human longings for truth, healing, identity and transformation. As Christians, we need to look beyond the practices themselves and understand the people involved: why these beliefs appeal to them, what they are searching for, and how the truth of God's Word speaks to those longings.

Understanding the person helps us communicate the gospel in ways that address their questions and point them towards the One they truly need: Jesus Christ.

My mission

Having spent around twenty years involved in the New Age before coming to faith in Jesus Christ, I am passionate about equipping Christians to reach people involved in the New Age with the gospel.

Through Alabaster Ministry, I help women coming out of the New Age understand Scripture, recognise spiritual deception and grow in their knowledge of Jesus Christ. I also seek to equip the wider church to understand and engage with people who are still involved in the New Age.

My focus is on understanding the person, not simply learning about New Age practices. I want to help Christians recognise the human longings behind the search for truth, healing and transformation, and understand how to address these through Scripture. This includes learning to communicate biblical truth clearly to people who may not understand the language Christians commonly use.

The goal is to equip Christians to communicate the gospel faithfully and meaningfully, pointing people away from the false promises of the New Age and towards Jesus Christ, through whom we are reconciled to God and transformed into His likeness.

Speaking and equipping

I am available to speak at churches, Bible colleges, universities, conferences, conventions and ministry events interested in understanding and reaching people involved in the New Age.
